Objectifs de Développement Durable
UNESCO and the United Nations have set 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), forming an action plan for 2030. These goals aim to:
reduce poverty and inequality
improve health and education
promote gender equality
achieve environmental transition strengthen peaceful and inclusive societies
The goals are interdependent and encourage the engagement of local, community, and citizen stakeholders.
Give a Try is fully aligned with both the action plan and the agenda; our organization's actions are part of a recognized and structured international framework.
Goal #3 – Health and well-being
Supporting youth health through sport (prevention, hygiene, nutrition, mental well-being).
Contributing to community resilience through structured activities.
A youth supported by sport is a youth in better physical, mental and social health.
Goal #4 – Quality Education
Rugby as a tool for non-formal education (discipline, respect, teamwork).
Development of transferable skills: leadership, project management, teamwork.
Combating school dropout.
Training of local leaders.
Inclusion of vulnerable youth.
Rugby becomes a vehicle for learning, employability and empowerment.
Goal #5 – Gender equality
Promoting girls' participation in sports.
Creating safe spaces for young women.
Raising awareness of equality, respect, and non-violence.
Empowering female leadership. Combating cultural stereotypes.
Rugby is a lever for empowering young girls and a concrete tool for social transformation.
Goal #12 – Responsible Consumption and Production
Collection and reuse of sports equipment (circular economy approach).
Waste reduction.
Raising awareness among young people about sustainable resource management.
Promoting solidarity and responsible supply chains.
