This experience will leave a lasting mark on our lives. We have decided to preserve this memory forever and return with a documentary from Burundi. We will be bringing a film crew to produce, film, edit, and broadcast this report, which will chronicle an exceptional and long-term human experience. For this, specific funding is required.

I am participating in the collection

We won't be arriving in Burundi empty-handed: Our project includes a significant component focused on supporting sports and educational development. We will be collecting new and used equipment wherever possible. To maximize the impact of this initiative, we want to involve all Belgian clubs in this solidarity effort. We are organizing a long-term equipment collection to structure substantial, coherent, and truly useful support on the ground.

  • Clean and well-maintained equipment and jerseys,

  • shorts, socks, tracksuits, sports shoes

  • protective gear, sports bags,

  • training equipment still in use, percussion bags, cones, etc.

  • school supplies

Our tangible contribution to a company’s CSR

Social pillar

The partnership enables the company to document a direct, quantifiable social impact—such as young people trained, equipment delivered, and clubs organized—moving beyond mere statements of intent. This data can enrich the annual CSR report with concrete, verifiable indicators.

Human resources and employer branding pillar

Opportunities for employees to join an expedition or for the creation of an "inside look" feature within the company transform the partnership into a driver of internal pride and talent retention. It is a project teams can champion themselves, rather than just a budget line item decided by management.

Governance and transparency pillar

The non-profit’s accounts undergo rigorous monitoring and are made available to partners, ensuring compliance and fund traceability—areas of increasing scrutiny in CSR audits and ESG criteria.

Communication and reputation pillar

Dedicated documentaries, interviews, and photo/video coverage provide the company with original, authentic content that can be reused across its own channels, avoiding the production costs of a standard CSR campaign.

Diversity and inclusion pillar

By rooting the project in the active Burundian diaspora in Brussels, the company aligns its commitment with principles of diversity and local inclusion, meeting the growing expectations of stakeholders in these areas.

In short, this partnership offers the company a comprehensive, documented, and ready-to-use CSR case study covering social, human, governance, communication, and diversity aspects.
